Alexis Jaulmes (@alexis_jaulmes) est un réalisateur parisien, qui a commencé son parcours en tantque monteur et motion designer avant de se consacrer pleinement à l’écriture et à la réalisation enintégrant l’école Kourtrajmé en 2018.Étant l’un des trois lauréats de cette première promotion, il écrit et réalise son premier court-métrage,produit par Ladj Ly et Srab Films, et reste neuf mois au sein de l’école.Son univers visuel, marqué par le désir d’une esthétique léchée, puise son inspiration dans le réalismesouillé et onirique de la capitale. Passionné par les dialogues percutants, Alexis aspire à mêlerl’esthétique et l’engagement pour créer des films qui font bouger les lignes. Après avoir réalisé quatrecourts-métrages de fiction, une quinzaine de clips indé et des publicitésdigitales, il travailleactuellement sur un documentaire et son premier long-métrage de fiction, tout en cultivant égalementl’aspect publicitaire de sa carrière.

Alexis Jaulmes is a Parisian director who began his career as an editor and motion designer before fully dedicating himself to writing and directing by joining Kourtrajmé School in 2018. As one of thethree winners of this first cohort, he wrote and directed his first short film, produced by Ladj Ly andSRAB Films, and spent nine months at the school refining his craft.His visual universe, driven by a pursuit of polished aesthetics, draws inspiration from the raw anddreamlike realism of the capital. Passionate about sharp, impactful dialogue, Alexis aims to mergeaesthetics with strong narratives to create films that challenge perspectives.After directing four fiction short films, over fifteen independent music videos, and several digitalcommercials, he is currently working on a documentary and his first feature film, while also continuingtodevelop his career in advertising.
