LylyCreativ Ladj Ly is a director known for his powerful, socially engaged cinema. Winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes for Les Misérables (2019), the film also earned him a César for Best Film and an Oscar nomination. In 2024, he collaborated for the first time with CHANEL to direct the film for the Cruise 2024/25 collection, presented in Marseille, featuring choreography by (LA)HORDE. Committed to fostering new talent, he co-founded the Kourtrajmé Film Schools in Montfermeil and Marseille, providing free training to emerging filmmakers.
